How your data is handled
Last updated: September 14, 2026
No legal entity has been registered for this service yet. This policy describes the data practices of the Gapsnap.AI tool as it exists today. The operator has not yet registered a company, jurisdiction, or physical address for this business. When a legal entity is established, this policy will be updated with that information.
What data is collected
None. The Gapsnap.AI tool runs entirely in your browser. No text you paste, no file you upload, and no timeline you generate is sent to any server. All processing — timestamp extraction, chronological sorting, gap detection, markdown generation — happens on your own device using JavaScript that is served as part of the page.
No analytics scripts, tracking pixels, cookies, or third-party services are loaded by the tool page itself. The page loads a stylesheet and JavaScript from its own domain — no external services are contacted when you use the tool.
What data is stored
Nothing is stored. There are no user accounts, no server-side databases, no caches, and no log of your activity. If a paid subscription tier becomes available in the future, minimal account data (an email address and payment identifier) would be collected through a third-party payment processor. This policy will be updated before any such system goes live.
How to contact
Because no legal entity or mailbox has been established for this service, there is no contact address available at this time. The operator is aware of this gap; when a contact method is available, it will be listed here.
If you have a privacy concern, please note it publicly in the project's issue tracker or reach out through the distribution channel where you obtained this tool. The operator monitors those channels and will respond.
Changes to this policy
If this policy is updated, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change. No separate notification will be sent — there is no mechanism to send email, and there are no user accounts to notify.
